In Italy, a vehicle equipment has to compulsorily include a type-approved warning triangle and a high-visibility jacket, as well. The warning triangle shall be utilized in case of accident, when the vehicle is on the carriageway; the high-visibility jacket shall be put on by the vehicle driver, when the latter gets out of the vehicle being parked on the carriageway.
